A foreign fan who engaged in stalking behavior at the home of BTS member Jungkook (real name: Jeon Jungkook) has been booked by police.

Yongsan Police in Seoul stated that around 2:50 p.m. today (the 4th), they booked a Brazilian woman in her 30s for violating the Anti-Stalking Act after she went to Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan District.

She allegedly caused a disturbance at Jungkook’s residence by throwing mail, hanging photos on the railing, and writing messages.

She had previously gone to Jungkook’s home on the 13th of last month and was arrested on the spot for trespassing.

She visited the location again on the 28th of the same month, violating the Anti-Stalking Act, and Jungkook’s side reportedly requested a restraining order.

1. She did this three times in three weeks — is there really no way to deal with this? She’s not even a citizen.

2. Last year June: a Chinese woman in her 30s → August: a Korean in her 40s → November: a Japanese in her 50s → today: a Brazilian woman in her 30s.
That makes a total of four sasaeng fans who’ve done this — this is the 4th case reported. (Not sure about the Russian fan.)

3. This all happened because for years there were YouTube channels that went to Jungkook’s house and livestreamed even during renovations, and BigHit left it unchecked… It was so bad there were even videos guiding people from specific subway exits all the way to his house. Fans recognized how serious it was and asked the company to take proper action, but they still ignored it.
And this is the result, Jungkook’s home has basically become a tourist spot.
> I’ve never seen a company like BigHit that just doesn’t care about protecting their artists. Other companies at least pretend to do something, but here it’s just quarterly lawsuit notices and that’s it.
> Agreed. They neglect it way too much, catch these criminals already.

4. His home address is completely exposed, and since it’s a house, it’s extremely dangerous.

5. That’s not a fan, that’s a crazy stalker. BigHit just puts out flashy lawsuit notices every time and actually solves nothing.

6. Deport them.

7. At that point, deportation is necessary. It’s honestly amazing Jungkook doesn’t openly hate fans.

8. Seriously, is it even possible for him to live a normal life? Please punish them severely!!! I once freaked out when I was home alone and someone accidentally pressed my door lock. Even though it was just once, it left me traumatized.

9. Sasaengs are not fans.
> Agreed. They’re criminals.

10. Ugh, seriously. What is wrong with them…
